| POSITION DESCRIPTION: |
Now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 academic year Leadership consultants are the primary liaison between the Headquarters and Pi Kappa Phi’s undergraduate chapters across the country. Consultants are highly trained and, thus, prepared to serve as professional recruiters, advisors, facilitators, mentors and educators to chapters and their key leaders. During each academic term, consultants each visit anywhere from 10 to 30 chapters providing support and assistance in their advancement of the Seven Objective levels by aiding in administrative responsibilities and facilitating discussions to promote positive change or continued success. Some consultants are assigned to aid in the expansion process by recruiting founding fathers and colonizing new chapters of Pi Kappa Phi. Our consultants have the opportunity to see many parts of the country, develop and hone their leadership, public speaking and communication skills. This is a full-time position that will prepare you for entry into the job market and life after college. |
| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | An active individual dedicated to a team environment and committed to promoting change not only within Pi Kappa Phi but in the Greek community. Applicants must be initiated members of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to learn new techniques of leadership and education. This position requires the ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings and situations, and the ability to solve problems creatively. Applicants must be able to lead teams, quickly establish rapport, and maintain credibility and integrity. Executive Council experience is not required, but campus or chapter leadership must be proven. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a car are all required. |
